Pastor Ron and Teresa Brown met at West Coast Bible College in Fresno, California. After graduation they got married and entered full-time ministry together in 1977. They served together in various positions in churches in five different states before moving to Monroe in 1991 with their two sons, Joshua and Gabriel, who at that time were ages ten and six. Louisiana has been home to the Brown’s ever since. Being the Lead Pastors for the past 25 years at House of Prayer, International have truly been wonderful years for the Brown family. Bishop Ron serves as the Lead Pastor on staff and Teresa serves as the Minister of Music and Ladies Ministries President.

Both Ron and Teresa have dedicated their lives to helping people get connected and stay connected to Jesus Christ. Preaching, teaching, leading in worship, and serving the Body of Christ in many other ways, has produced vast amounts of fruit for God’s Kingdom through their ministry. There ministry has not just impacted locally, but also impacted on the state, regional, national, and international levels. In northeast Louisiana the Browns have built strong friendships and meaningful relationships with hundreds of beautiful Christian people, while at the same time having the privilege of winning new converts while assisting them to become true disciples of the Lord. Helping people find their place in the Body of Christ and in the work of the ministry is the passion of their hearts.

We welcome Mike Reed back to the Ministerial Staff of the House of Prayer International to serve in the ministry of Assistant Pastor. Pastor Mike and his wife Kelli along with Zach and Chloe are certainly not new to our fellowship and after much prayer and with a sincere desire to see the church reach its full potential, Pastor Mike is moving back into active leadership in our church. He will still operate as an evangelist when called upon but most of his work in the ministry will be here as he helps people at the House of Prayer to know God…discover their God-given purpose…and fullfill their earthly assignment. Welcome back Pastor Mike and family – we are excited to have you back in leadership at the House of Prayer!
